Two weeks ago I contacted Radio 6 about Blondie. This afternoon Blondie performed four songs at Radio 6. Producer Paul Harvey interviewed him, talking about South Africa, Rick Danko, the Stones and his impressive career. Blondie also paid tribute to the great Miriam "Mother Africa" Makeba. He had met her backstage at Paradiso, only two days before she passed away.
All in all it was so good to be back at Radio 6.
I also talked to Paul about Chris Jagger's new album, which I had received last week. Chris has been invited to do a mini gig at Radio 6, which is due somewhere in spring.
