It has been a while since I my last update. Besides, I have been holidaying on the seaside, where I placed my vintage caravan and struggled with the awning... And: I have bought a new computer, a 10 inch netbook, not easy peasy with my ageing eyes.. My brother Peter is over from Spain and as usual he is staying here, he is already complaining about the size of the screen...! This week I sent some of Bill Wyman's press coverage to his office in London and I sent Blondie Chaplin a copy of the documentary on the Beach Boys '
Holland' album.
This morning starts with a call from Universal Music the Netherlands about the upcoming Stones releases. We agree to meet again soon.

While I am queueing at the bakery I receive two English speaking telephone calls, the first coming from Georgie Fame, who briefly talks about the hazards of releasing a new record with his band the Blue Flames: the artwork lacking his name, hence sent back to the manufacturer! Therefore its official release has been postponed, but he promises to send me a copy as soon as it's available again. Then my iPhone rings again and I listen to Chris Jagger's voice. We hadn't been in touch for a while, but it is always fun talking to him.
I receive an email from Andee Baker from the USA, requesting to do an interview with me about a book on the Stones, to which I agree and we settle the date via Skype.
