A quiet Sunday

This Sunday it turns out to be very cold, so I decide to finish my English book and this week's unread papers. Then I run through my emails and do some schoolwork. I call Siw in Norway, who is taking care of Blondie Chaplin and is doing a great job by organising some good gigs for him. I talk to her and Blondie on the phone while they are having lunch in Oslo. Siw has got some valuable contacts I might be able to use later on. We will be in touch later this week.
I send an email to Rick Rosas, bass player with Neil Young. Blondie introduced us earlier this year. We have been in touch ever since .
Chris Jagger sends me an email about photos I forwarded to him last week(see below). He has finished his new album and will send me a copy. Both he and Charlie Hart want to do a gig in April in Amsterdam, so there is work to be done. I know Radio 6 is taking a keen interest in Chris' music, so high time he went there for an interview and some songs.
Meanwhile I am looking forward to receiving one of the miracles of modern technology: my new iPhone has been ordered, urged by my students: "If you want an iPhone so badly, then why don't you get one yourself?" Quite. It is better buying one than confiscating them in class. (photo copyright Ans van Heck)
