London

On Friday I travel to London to discuss various subjects. I arrive by Eurostar and meet with some people before heading off to Ronnie Scotts jazzclub, where Georgie Fame is on the bill, doing double shifts: two 90 mins sets with wonderful music, as always! Georgie and I had met the previous week in The Hague and he had kindly invited to come to Ronnie Scotts jazzclub. (There is a very good review of this gig in the Daily Telegraph!) At Ronnie's I watch all sets and enjoy some beers with the band downstairs backstage.
While strolling in Soho I receive a phone call from the very first Stones photographer Philip Townsend, but very much to our mutual disappointment there is no time to meet . My busy schedule even prevents me from dropping some media coverage at Bill Wyman's office, so now I have to send it by snailmail.... It is quite a lot: cds, dvds and newspaper clippings about the previous two Dutch Wyman Shoots exhibitions in which I was involved. I have also included two very interesting interviews I got given by Radio 6: a 30 mins interview with Ian Stewart and one with Dick Heckstall Smith. I think Bill will dig it!
