Blondie opening Let It Bleed
Blondie Chaplin is staying here for a week. This Thursday he arrived and he will be here until 15 Nov., when he is leaving for Germany and Norway to do some gigs.
Friday started quite relaxed. I started off the day by sending an idea to Universal Music about Sam Cooke, which went down quite well. In the afternoon I received confirmation about Bill Wyman's photo exhibition. It's on! This is going to be the very first one in a European museum. Now I have to find out when the opening can take place and I have to contact the conservator soon.
Blondie's jetlag was still bothering him, so he took a nap. At five we left for V!psart gallery in Amsterdam, to attend the opening of Ethan Russell's photoexhibition/book presentation of Let It Bleed. I had done some PR chores and had invited Blondie to open this exhibition. The week before I had hooked up with Arrow Classic Rock Radio, to arrange some publicity for the gallery. They gave away a hard copy of the Let It Bleed photobook by Ethan Russell.
The opening was well attended.
